LutonAid is an all day music festival that took place last year on Friday 19th and
Saturday 20th August at the Hat Factory Arts Centre.
Although LutonAid is a rather
unimaginative title, it sums it up really; local bands kindly giving their time and
talent to raise money for the Keech Hospice Care for Adults and Children. Last year
was LutonAid's 7th birthday and there was music on 3 stages over two days.
The reason
LutonAid has been so successful, and continues to take place each year, is thanks
to the volunteers and the bands who give up their time.
The LutonAid people are:
Mariana Brown -
Paul Curry -
Paul Danks -
Greg Niedzwiecki -
Mat Collis -
Dave Cowler -
Lee Nelson -
Nik Scott -
Teressa Goodhew -
Plus a small army of volunteers who help out on the day or provide equipment either
at a huge discount or for free.
Luton Aid is a fantastic day out for live music lovers,
whilst raising much needed funds for charity. But don't take our word for it. Come
and see for yourself!
